This weekend I decided to pull the trigger on another keychain. Oscar’s kitty toy is no longer that.
This was, by far, my hardest build. I punched out all the guys and salvaged the switch only. I used a ML101U29 and FlexdriveV5 set to 300mA. Used two sided sticky as a seat for the switch and cover exposed areas.
The end cap was a little too small so I had to Waller it out some on the high speed drill and dowel with sandpaper. Then the tiny 10220 dropped right in.
Here are some pics, and as always I share😁 I hope you enjoy.

Hey SGD, that's one nice looking Boolit! 🆒
You've managed to cram a lot into that tiny cat toy keychain, good job sir. (y)

Very nice! It's impressive how you managed to fit everything into there! Looks super clean. What lens did you end up using for that mitsi diode?

The only way I'd be able to build something that small is if I hired mice to solder for me. But of course, with this comes the issue of finding solder tips small enough for their tiny irons. That and I'm not sure I have the cheese to meet the demands of their tiny labor union anyway :p

Thanks fellas!!! It was a tough build. Had to pull it out several times to make adjustments and ended up using a plain wire for the switch-driver contact. I ended up using a 3E lens. I set the infinit focus. Then dabbed some epoxy around the lens barrel and placed the original cap over it to set up. Now the original cap will focus the lens.
It’s a guinea pig dildo, get it right, sheesh 🤣🤣

Hey, SGD, where did you pick up those 10220's, it might be good to have a couple around in case I need some for a future, tiny build?

Hey, Jeff. I ordered them from a vendor on Alibaba. I use a little Adafruit chip charger to charge them. It’s like a 100mAh charger.
I was thinking of getting some more actually but the ones I bought I had to have them shipped to the states ‘cause many in China can’t load an APO address. They’re super cheap though:)

Thanks buddy, that's kind of what I figured; it looks like Alibaba is about the only player in the game.
Thanks for the tip on the charger! :)

Very nice. I have come to appreciate tiny units with bright beams, the duty cycle may not be all that long but for a small build they do have a big cool factor. (y)

What is the capacity on these batteries? I know it can't be very much. Have you been able to measure their capacity to see if they are inflating the capacity like other Chinese sellers have done?

I still have the account. Perhaps I can order a bunch and ha
Hey, Paul!! I don’t have a way to fully safely discharge/recharge to measure their total capacity. They’re advertised from 110-130mAh. These little cells are typically welded into small things like e-cigs and little rechargeable speakers. I know what you’re saying about the inflated battery rating lol. The 18650s and alike rated at 8000mAh🤣 I even have a 10440 with 1000mAh printed on it... hilarious.
I can’t imagine these little guys deviating much listed. They’re .80~ ea. I’m working on getting more just waiting for the vendor to message me back.
