Where to find a focal lens for arctic spyder 3?

Hi, unfortunately wickedlasers no longer produce the "expanded lens kit 1" which includes a focusing lens that fits the spyder arctic 3, instead they produce the lens kit 2 which only includes some weird effects.
So where can i find a focal lens that fits spyder arctic 3? That won't cost more than $20? It doesn't matter if it is adjustable focus or not. I've read some threads that say a magnifying glass would be enough, but i want a lens not a glass.

Thanks in advance.

You are not going to get another wicked lasers focusing lens for less than $20. For one they come as part of a set, and I have looked and nobody are selling them on eBay. You can however buy the whole set for a generous price of $249. link-eBay ;)
A magnifying glass is a lens. If you need cheap, and you have a lens cap that you can sacrifice. You could always get a cheap glass convex and replace the optics over. The other option is to do what most people do and use a external lens.

.

I did not say i want a original Wickedlasers lens, i said i want a lens that ‘fits’ to Arctic to see if anyone found a lens for it before. It can be any lens for any laser, that will also work with arctic.
Thanks anyway.

Sorry, I read your post presuming you wanted a proper wl cap. I don't with certainty know any other lens caps that would fit. But JetLasers have very similar hosts.

No problem. There are companies available that provide lens caps but they may not necessarily fit the arctic.
The only thing I can think of is that the arctic host has been copied by the chinese, so some cheaper models might have lens caps that fit the real model.
I'm hoping someone on the forum will know if there are any fitting lenses. I haven't had to try and find a replacement for my arctic to know myself.

Update: I contacted Wickedlasers via Facebook and they said me that these lenses usually restock within 1 or 2 months.

I said OK and checked the Wickedlasers site record on Webarchive, and saw that the focusing lens is not available since February :rolleyes::censored:

So i still need answers. If any of you guys have experience please share your information. Else i will have to buy something that has a focusing feature, but i want the Wicked very much instead of these mass produced cheap Chinese laser like Thor M2 or Gatling.

I am not familiar with your laser, but many of these use a 9 mm housing from their lenses. If you can access the lens you want to replace and see what diameter the housing is, I might be able to steer you towards a lens that would work.

Hello, thanks for your reply. I did not buy the laser yet, i am planning to buy it if i find a focusing lens for it. (This is why i opened this thread) So i cannot access the lens or anything, but i can send you the technical specifications of the laser:

Hope this is the info you need. Thanks again.

Unfortunately, that doesn't tell me anything about the lens at all. I can't even tell if it is a short focal length aspheric or multi element lens assembly, much less the housing diameter. I guess you will find out if you buy it. Otherwise, we may never know.

Hey Aurora. I have used the Arctic spyder clone lenses before. All the are, are the little silver caps that you see most lasers come with today just in a Wicked lasers style cap.

I'm trying to find something compatible with this laser I got recently because my Wicked lasers Lens collection aren't compatible with it.
