Re: Sharp 473/477 Laser For Sale

so which is it 473nm or 477nm?
It would help sell it if you put a photo of it next to a piece of paper with your nickname and date and also photos of it functioning--beam shot and so on.
Without photos I don't think anyone will offer

Re: Sharp 473/477 Laser For Sale

I'd like to have first shot at it, but want to see photo's and know the price.

Re: Sharp 473/477 Laser For Sale

I might very well buy it, unless someone else who posted first wants it. Looking forward to photo's.

Re: Sharp 473/477 Laser For Sale

That sounds fishy. Could DTR himself prove that that member is saying the truth and purchased such a diode from him?

Stay safe

Singlemode

Re: Sharp 473/477 Laser For Sale

Yea, I have my reservations too, if he can post a photo and show he's not a scammer and allows protected payment, I may buy it, but need all of that first.

Re: Sharp 473/477 Laser For Sale

Hi here is proof i got the diode from dtr before anyone know what diode it was dtr called them 470nm diodes.

Soon as i get a camera sorted i will take pics of the laser.

Re: Sharp 473/477 Laser For Sale

Thanks, watch out for double posting, some members get miffed when they see that, you can edit instead. OK, well your IP checks as legit, we've had a former banned member here or two who likes to try to rip off members, so we are all on the lookout for that now.

Re: Sharp 473/477 Laser For Sale

I've sold evans a 495nm diode, he's in the UK and does exist, all good
I can also be a middleman if someone wants, can't take a spectro reading but a power reading will be no problem, and i can compare it to my 475nm build.

Soon as i get a camera sorted i will take pics of the laser.

o and evans965, if you can, take a photo or two of your other laser, the rare one ;) and send them through to me

Re: Sharp 473/477 Laser For Sale

OK, if as described, it's a done deal as far as I am concerned, but I would like to see those photo's, when you can.

Re: Sharp 473/477 Laser For Sale

Hey, Chris. evens965 has posted two photos of this laser. It looks to be the right power and the right divergence specs. The camera doesn't pick up the color too well. If that spot was on a flat surface, it would have the rectangular artifact as I believe he used an asheric lens to collimate it. You might want to change it out for an acrylic lens if you get it.

E: In looking at the dot in the second photo, it looks like the artifact is there. It is difficult to see since it was taken in darkness and the illuminated spot is washing out the camera's ability to show it clearly.
