I have been working on my control board for the 300 mW RGB laser I bought from Laserlands and it is working now and with the 15 turn pots I used, it has excellent adjustabllity. However, the alignment of the lasers could be better. Looks like I'll be doing that next and measuring the power. It looks to be more than 300 mW as it has a very bright white beam. The beam profiles look very close to each other at 25 feet.

Sorry, Tero. Didn't mean to highjack your thread. This seemed like the best place to post this without starting a whole new thread for this bit of information.

No worries mate, I'm glad to hear that you got your RGB unit up and running.

PS. Would love to see few beamshots at some point.. :p

That's the plan. I have a member sending me some connectors for these and I need to align the lasers a bit better. Once I get that done I can make some good beam shots as I have very good control over the individual laser's outputs.

Aligning the lasers can be tricky... especially with the multimode ones.

You can get proper alignment in the sense of all of them going exactly the same direction, but if the divergence is different for each one projections will not look that good. Beamshows probably will though :)

That's why I mentioned the beam profile of each laser is about the same at 25 feet. They aren't multimode diodes either.
