According to

BlackBuck 8M - 8A Buck Laser Driver - NDB7A75, NUBM44, NUMB05, NUBM06, NUBM08 | eBay

On picture with tag "The connection method if you are not using external modulation sources"

on laser diode or LED must be 2...5 V forward voltage

but I received around 10,5V

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B4hCH8A0_bH-TXo5TEVueXBUcmM?usp=sharing

IMAG0592.jpg

also I try connect like tag "The connection method using an external signal"

I have an arduino as PWM/TTL
Frequency around 1,95 kHz
Duty cycle from 35% on 1% power in arduino to around 95% on 99% power in arduino

but on LED i still receiving around 10,5V

I also try like this

https://www.hackster.io/macinblack/laser-engraver-with-arduino-719d14

with potentiometer but also unsuccessfully

Arduino with this cheaper chinese driver work perfect

12V TTL 1W 1.6W 3W 445nm 450nm Laser Diode LD Driver Power Supply Stage Light | eBay

What I do wrong?

Is the output limit for the BlackBuck definitely 5V? I can't find that information for certain...

What is the current set to? What LED are you using? The output doesn't vary at all if you hook up a pot as described? Can you provide more pictures of how you have everything wired up?

I also cannot find that information, only in picture

I try to hook up the pot - nothing, as I understand the pot set max Amps not Voltage

IMAG0593.jpg - power supply set to 12V

IMAG0595.jpg - multimeter connected to 1W LED diode, blue wire - TTL +, white - TTL -

IMAG0596.jpg - arduino - blue wire - TTL +, white - TTL -

IMAG0597.jpg - arduino TTL connector

IMAG0598.jpg - ttl off

IMAG0599.jpg - ttl on 5% power
IMAG0600.jpg - led
IMAG0601.jpg - 10,56V on led

IMAG0602.jpg ttl on power 65%
IMAG0603.jpg - 10,56V on led

IMAG0604.jpg - wire from power supply connected to laser driver and arduino board (I mean "-" are common)

Look I think problem in ttl/pwm because with potentiometer 10kOm I can change voltage in LED from 0 to 10 volts

Have you verified that the TTL/PWM signal is actually working properly still, perhaps there is an issue there? Start with the signal source, then work your way towards the driver and output. Clearly the modulation input on the driver is working (at least to some extent) if you can adjust output using a pot and the on board 5V reference.

Yes the pot (IMAG0614.jpg) and 5V reference allow adjust output voltage to LED from 0 to max

I just checked with that driver

12V TTL 1W 1.6W 3W 445nm 450nm Laser Diode LD Driver Power Supply Stage Light | eBay

and A-140 laser diode

everything work perfect
