Hi everyone,

So, this is my first post on this forum.

I just received my new CASA CTL-DCM quad laser (RGVY) and my controller Obey 40. Everything is working perfectly except for the green laser.

In fact, i think the horizontal stepper motor (The one that control Y axis) doesn't follow the other 3 lasers.

For example, i choose the static (scanning) horizontal lines on the four lasers. They are pretty much all aligned but the green is not (like 1 or 2 steps over). Then I change the Y axis value. The Red, Violet and Yellow lasers follow up very well, but the green laser go down once, up twice, down, up, up.
So... i guess something is wrong at this point.

Anyone could help me with that problem? The equipment is, or "should be" new, ordered from ebay.

Thanks a lot,

Alex

Can you post pictures or videos of what's happening? Not really understanding what you're saying - although by this point in the day I'm half asleep, maybe it's just me.

Although really, if something that's new comes straight from the seller with issues I'd be contacting them first to resolve it - they may not want to help you if you open it up or otherwise mess around with it.

Thanks for your quick response.

I'm not used to this forum and i don't know how to post a video.
But here is how it looks :

-red- -violet- -yellow-
--------------------------green-

The red, violet and yellow are on the same level. Green is not.
If I move channel 4 (which is Y axis), red, violet and yellow follow up, but green differently.

I tried to communicate with the seller. I'm waiting for his response. But i'm still curious if there is a way to fix it by my self.

Thanks again,

Alex

I haven't played with projectors yet, but i have some experience in CNC and servo + stepper motors.. could be calibration, motor issues, mirror alignment who knows.

Here this is from the CTL-DCM manual...

A. Make sure to there's only one master in the chain, and the others are set in slave mode.
If the output beam direction above isn't the right way, please restart the unit.

OH and
Do not remove or break the warranty label, otherwise it void the warranty.

If i bought a brand new PJ and it was having issues, it'd be going back or a paypal dispute would come if no responses came.
