So I'm going to do my best on writing a review that qualifies as legit. This is my first review ever, on my first ever laser purchase.
I did a decent amount of research and browsing before going ahead and buying my first laser. It was hard to decide which light output along with power.
I decided on going with a 2.4w 445nm from sflasers.us I'm overall pleased with how Eitan deals with customers and orders. I have managed to pop balloons, burn wood, and see the beam in broad daylight. Pictures are from my phone, most of them being from snapchat.
It looks 100x better in person. I highly recommend the website for beginners. Only issue I seemed to have, is focusing it properly, but that's just cause I'm a newbie.

Craftsmanship of laser: 7/10, it could be a little better, but pretty decent for a first laser.

Customer Service: 8.5/10, always replied with a helpful answer, only downside is it sometimes took a while to get that reply. Could be timezone difference.

Website Selection: 6/10, a lot was out of stock, and I would have been more happy had the batteries & charger been purchasable on the website too.

Overall Satisfaction: 8/10, not much to perfect, and not much to compare against, it is my first laser after all.

edit: Yes, I have safety glasses.

A very nice review. Well done. Just be careful when burning things especially your doors and walls that could catch fire real quick and get out of hand burning the entire house down. Fire spreads real fast.
Other than that you got a nice laser there.

You didn't mention in your review whether or not you were using safety glasses for those inside shots. If not, get, and use, a pair before you do any more indoor work with that laser. With that power and wavelength it is too easy to damage your vision with an unexpected reflection or even staring at the dot when you are burning something.

There are many sources for good goggles. Here is only one:

Yes I have safety glasses, I bought 2 pairs of them before my laser even arrived.

Good, and thanks for the reassurance. It's hard to tell when peering through the anonymity of a computer screen what level of knowledge and maturity a first time poster has.

Please look at the Welcome section and tell us a bit about yourself and where you're located and add your location to your profile. It will add to your credibility and will encourage the vets here to assist you when you have questions.

Welcome to the group.

Haha I got a bit of a giggle from that reply :p Indeed it is true, not everyone on the internet does their research or cares about safety.
