I've kind of been interested in a violet laser.

What's the difference between the Arcane 2.0 and the SF501B beyond the housing?

Being new to lasers, I'd like to ask a stupid question as well. How brightly does a violet (405nm) laser beam shine at night? I am aware green lasers appear brightest to the human eye, but I presume if you make a violet laser powerful enough it will produce a brightly glowing pillar of light akin to a lightsaber. I also have no idea how powerful it'd have to be in order to be highly visible at night. Any info is appreciated, as I do not want to order without knowing what exactly I should get.
