Do u know where to source this diffuser?

I managed to drop the wafer I had.
It is a tiny, thin wafer that diffuses a laser beam and produces lots of dots.

Does anyone know where I can source this diffuser type of material, please?

You could try a double axis diffraction grating.

The possible replacements you can get away with really depend on what device the "diffuser" came from.

Is that the type that creates "cross hairs"?
I have a few of those, I want to create a matrix of dots.

The piece I had came with a green laser pointer where one can twist the bezzle upon the end and one set of dots mingle with another set of dots to create patterns.

I have no idea what the material is made from unfortunately, unlike the small round plastic lenses with grooves that create straight lines.

Well, these guys wanted to sell me a DOE (dot matrix) for over $140 and it was simply a small piece of plastic !

Better off buying another chinese jobby even if I have more green lasers than I know what to do with. I only want the matrix generator on the end !

Sounds like its just a set of diffraction tips. Something like this or these?

I have bought from this guy before. These are great if you're not looking for high accuracy. You didn't fill in
your location, so I have no idea how long it will take for you to get them. You can cut them down to size
should the need arise. He also sells rolls of the plastic film.

Yes, diffraction tips will do the job.
Have just bought some from ebay thanks.
Will also look at the dragon lasers link and buy some stuff from the ebay link too; it's great to try different sources.
