Laser diode driver help??

Hi I'm nick and new to the forum.
I'm looking for possible instructions in making a laser diode driver with a RS232 port or USB port for a computer program control for a LPC815 laser diode.
Unfornately I do not have the time to search the forum to see if there is instructions. So any help would be greatly appreicated.

but you have time to build a computer controlled laser?

Yeah. I'm doin research for 20 other things and just looking for a link or something

I really don't think thats how this forum works? I think most of the time you search for yourself rather than asking others to search for things for you. I could be mistaken though....

You need a driver w/ PWM controll ... you will need to interface it with a micro-controller like an arduino board that runs command processor. Issue the commands to the MCU via USB and it sets up the PWM'd signal for the driver according to the command.

I haven't done this ... other have ... I hope that's enough info to get your search going in the right direction. As stated above no one here will do the research for you.
