Remove the Sci-Fi banner ?

Granted no one's happy that it took so long but Avery did post about why the stupid banner is up, and will stay up.

Appealing as it may be, taking his banner down, after he paid for it, would be wrong too.

(Odds are if Avery took it down nothing would happen. Eitan is too broke to refund people [or so he says] so he probably doesn't have any means to pursue anything legally. On the other hand it could be a black mark against Avery as an advertiser, and no one ever wants to get lawyers involved.)

There's been zero evidence of that. The "apology" and follow up posts were nothing but bad rationalizations and excuses. He still hasn't even apologized properly, much less taken any steps to address the situation.

You didn't miss anything... for the time being it appears SF Lasers is done. Good riddance I think.

Only way sci-fi stands the remotest chance of coming back is if Eitan finds some way to refund everyone or get them their items.

and he also need something that needs to stand out from the competitors.(hosts).

add some ultra rare wavelength

use a different shipping...(EMSHL;.....)

After this fiasco, i wouldnt order a free laser from him

I think it's a good idea to have a poll. We can all see how everyone feels about the issue in more specific detail and what we think should be done about it!

I voted for having Eitan permanently banned, along with his banner removed. I simply cannot condone having someone who takes months to ship out customer orders, and then blame their customers for his problems. Im sure others have their opinions, but these are mine :yh:

I agree with Hap, Eithan could have made a real apology, but what he said in that awful apology is basically he has learned nothing.

Not banned until outstanding orders are resolved one way or another. All possible paths for communication should be preserved for the time being.

Absolutely not allowed to do business on here.

As for the banner, it stays until the advertising agreement runs out.
