Hey guys. Wanted to share my first projector experience. I have never seen a projector in action and was curious to what the fuss was about. This projector has 42 patterns that can be adjusted for speed, duration, everything imaginable. I took the pictures using full color mode so each image shown could be displayed in anything from one, to all seven colors. The yellow and white are very striking. Overall I couldn't be happier. For $250 this far surpassed my expectations. Set to music is very easy and really makes the unit come alive. I wish these pictures could do it justice, but these images are from floor to ceiling. So many modes and options, it's overwhelming at first, but quickly becomes easy after playing. I tried to get some beam shots but my phone can't distinguish separate beams. I could show endless pictures of this, but after seeing just a few, use your imagination for all the design and color possibilities.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. Wish I could upload dozens more, because I just really want to show how impressed I am. Thanks so much Hakzaw1 for the new addition and more to come. And those strictly handheld guys.... You're missing out.... I was. Group buy still going on for this model and better.

Thanks for looking.
(whew, damn phone reviews :))

Looks sweet Tmack!
Until seeing these pics, I could only guess what the LK-3D actually looked like.
All those images look quite different than those that LK has shown in their videos, better actually.
Definitely glad I signed up for one!

@hwang21 - Come on in, join the GB! Any of these PJ's would be a nice Christmas present to yourself. :san:

Really glad to give you a better idea bowtieguy. I had no idea what to expect except what I caught glimpses of on YouTube . But still just seeing these little pictures only shows a second of what's really happening. Imagine the entire wall morphing into countless designs, whatever color, speed, you want. When I saw the short videos it didnt show size at all. Just set maybe 15 ft away, the image is sharp and huge!! And to set it to music is amazing. Just set the sensitivity to what you want it to respond to, tempo of music, or to change only when the beat hits. It's just crazy what you get for the price when your used to paying the same if not more for a handheld . Very happy and you will be too.

Us handheld people are missing out :cryyy:

But Tmack, handheld lasers are great for portability :D

Nice review and awesome laser! This projector has some amazing mode effects and colors from what I've been able to see and this is all from looking at it in pictures and videos so I bet this is a 100 times better in person and just mind blowing! And all for $250. As for portability no its not going to fit in your pocket like a handheld (some handhelds are to big for pockets anyways) but this unit looks like it would easily fit into a rucksack so you could easily take it to any party's you have coming up. I bet this will impress everyone at a new years party if you turned up with this! no need for lots of other Dj lights as this one will steal the show imo

Wow, thanks for the great pictures! Now I'm trying to get in on the GB for one of these. The LK-3D is so much more amazing than the red laser scanner I built in the 80's – and I spent a lot more money on it back then. At $250, this projector is an alluring deal.

I might need to see that zombie gun!

The only way to really understand these in to be in the room. Even videos they just look like little spyrographs. When in person and the whole room is lit up you can really appreciate it.
And the videos only show you very few of the designs not really giving the full impression of what you can actually do. When I saw the videos I was very unimpressed, but when I set it up in my living room and the design engulfed the whole area, my jaw dropped and I finally understood what all the ranting and raving was about. ( lesson: just listen to the vets!!)

Very nice. You can see now why those who own them have a hard time explaining why the pics and vids don't do them justice.
Some great patterns there Tmack:) Have you tried it with a little fog yet;)
