Hi, I have only had my Wicked Laser for a couple of months now. In the beginning it was working fine...but weeks later I noticed (after my friend purchasing one as well) that the light was continuing to dim and being less bright. Now, it seems I need to change the batteries constantly and when I shine it...the point is very blurry and no longer a sharp point. I will shine it down the road and the light is a big bulge and not sharp at all. Maybe there is dust on the lenses? I can post pictures if needed. Thank you.

Pictures never hurt. Are you using the batteries they shipped to you with the laser? I've heard WL ships cheap batteries.

Have you done some burning with the laser? Sometimes, when burning, the smoke residue gets on the lens and can cause it to be less bright, and blurry, and needs to be cleaned.

I have not been using the provided batteries. No burning either. It's not a very strong laser...I believe it's the 50mw? It seems like a piece of the glass (or whatever) inside of it is missing? I thought there was a piece there before, I could be wrong.

which laser is it? If it is the evolution pro, I had this problem, the cap got scratched, remove the cap to see if the problem persists. Here is a picture of what I mean, http://img200.imageshack.us/img200/9743/12glasscover.jpg it is Nikopapo's picture from his evo pro review.

It's actually the executive pro series. I do not thing mine has a piece of glass in it at all. There is not a removable extension on mine. :wtf:

Dirty lens then, look around to find out how to PROPERLY clean your lens, NEVER USE WATER as water has impurities in it. Try to find 100% rubbing alcohol. There are also professional lens cleaning kits out there. Do some searching for better explanations then mine as it is 3 in the morning here and I may have made some mistakes.

But even if it is only my lenses..I still don't understand why my laser overall seems weaker :(. I also think it is missing a piece..there are no lenses. Thanks for all of the help though.

Well if there is dust on the lens it will direct the 100mw of light over a larger area. 100mW focused to 1mm will look brighter than that focused to 10mm.

My green will look brighter if it was just cleaned.

Also have to checked the batteries? Are his newer? A better brand? Lithium vs Alkaline?

Alright, I will give the cleaning a try. Do you have any suggestions on how I should clean the lenses..there is not a removable extension at the end of mine.

Ha, I actually tried google..but I keep finding mixed answers. Some say to use q-tips and windex..some say that will ruin the lenses. I was just wondering out of personal experience.

I use the Lenspen and/or Q-tip with alcohol.

There could be other reasons why it is behaving the way it is. DPSS lasers are somewhat complex, maybe the crystals are out of alignment, wish I had a definitive answer for ya.

Does it have a warranty? You could try contacting WL for some assistance. Maybe try WL's forum, maybe other people there have had the same issues you are.

For cleaning I use a Q tip with my eye glass cleaning cloth over it and lens cleaning solution. :)

I have an executive pro. They are a pain in the butt to clean. Just buy some really good glass cleaner or lens cleaner and take the "whole" qtip swab off. make sure your fingers are clean or u will just make it dirtier. spray the cotton just a little bit and jam the cotton in the hole (all of it too). don't worry about it getting stuck in there, its not hard to get out. Use the cottonswab stick to swirl the cotton around and then twist the stick and pull it out at the same time. The swab should come out and your lens should be clean. repeat if needed.
