I'm guessing it's just an LPC-826 in a heatsink with a crappy driver. Definitely not worth 68 bucks.

I feel bad for the person buying 300mW of red in this kind of package.. 300mW of red is not even fun in potable/handheld if u ask me, i would rather go for a keychain or cr2 design so that could make it fun to play with!!

awww sinner! i dig my c6 lpc-826 300mw. great beam specs and i can see the beam indoors. pops balloons too. different strokes...

It's a cute little module but not worth it as said.

Was looking at the specs. I've never seen a stability reading that was 8 hours long

Where is the best place to get LPC-826 or 836?

Is o-like the best source, is there an American source?

I myself love the beamspecs of the reds esp LPC's, they are quite a burner thats true,
I am just saying how i would like a red laser i.e: in a keychain(even 200mW will be fun) so u are right at most of it. This just isnt worth the money and it puts out less
power than a $7 diode.. So if by all means it is expensive and not worth the money!!

How about spending your hard earned money wisely and efficiently!!
Here's what u can get at the same price:
A 635nm from DTR and leads attched and a X-drive or mohgasm driver
500mW of much more visible/brighter red!!

Would you go for a US made Driver and a TESTED laser diode?
OR
Chinese made stuff that might take a lot longer to arrive, may not be upto specs n so on!

Isn't the 635 from DTR a multimodal with the annoying flat line/wings?
