I'm thinking of using a true DX30 for a host for one of sandstones 100mw green modules, according to the dimensions it looks like it will fit w/o to much if any modification to the host. Anyone know if it will work?

BTW, her units come with the driver attached correct? I was just gonna use a 10440 with a spacer in the DX30 since the input voltage is 3.0-4.2.

Also this host wont be permanent I'm gonna get a nice one made eventually from a machine shop, when there not busy ( Get it for free when they don't have a job to do :) ).

Thanks,
Jason

It may fit. But those are hard to disassemble.

Yes the driver is attached. Let us know how it goes.

I've always wondered if there was a pushbutton switch attached to the Standstone Module driver...

They can be disassembled If you know how to do it. ;) Lucky me, Kenom already said how to in the lenspen review.
Kenom says
It will NOT fit through the hole on the DX. You have to pull the cap off in order to get to it. To do that take a peice of wood. Drill a hole in it the same size as the laser head. take that peice of wood and cut it in half through the center of the circle. Now place the two peices of wood around the laser cap and put the wood in a vice to hold it still. with it tightened you can now pull and twist the cap off. If you cannot, use a pair of pliers with a rubber band around the laser and hold onto the laser the rubber bands under the pliers and spin twist.

hope this helps. --end

Then you can press out the green module with an axiz module.

Also, spyderz: Theres the switch vv

That is a good idea. Do you think an Aixiz module will fit in there.
An aixiz module fits perfectly inside the dx pens, or atleast mine does. When I get my green module from Susie I'll let you guys know if it fits.

They are both the same diameter.

So they say, but I thought I remember jayrob saying the diameter's of the 100mw modules he got from Susie varied slightly in diameter.
