There is also an ebay seller "itemquickship" or "wlaser" they both sip from the same place in the US and offer green and 405nm lasers of okay quality at a reasonable price.
Yes I've sort of given up hope for a cheap greenie with an IR filter.
I'll try to contact Rayfoss though.
EDIT:
Hello Sir,
Thanks for your inquiry!
Yes, we could add IR filter to focuable laser torch per your requests.
But for this pen style laser we can not add IR filter which limited by the internal structure.
Oh well, I'm not extremely worried about IR, so I think I'll just take a chance with the laser DJNY suggested, thanks for the help anyway udanis, and everyone else!
Galileo Series 532nm Green Laser Pointer
All of Laserglow’s green laser pointers are IR-filtered for safety and employ APC technology to maintain constant output power. APC (Automatic Power Control) is a system that uses an optical feedback loop to ensure stable laser output.
I dont know how zbolts quality is now but I ordered from em around 5 ($75 for 5mw) years ago and had a green laser that dropping it wouldnt kill it. The crystals are glued into a metal disc (like most greenies) but instead of that disc being glued to the pump diode the diode had a collar that held the metal disc in place and with everything screwed together the disc could not break loose and go anywhere. It survived 5 years of constant abuse and only broke when I popped it open one time.
I once tested it for a forum member. It had less than 5% of IR inside, maybe it was IR filtered. I´ll do the test again when I do my safety goggle review in a few days
