Spare Parts Availability Important?

Hello...I'm a proud owner of a Wicked Lasers Krypton. I don't mind the high cost, but I am starting to think of spare parts availabilty. With my flashlights (Surefire, Nitecore, Fenix, especially), you can easily buy tailcap switches, special O-rings, crowns and such.

I'd like to buy a spare tailcap. I was quoted (and paid) only $10+$5 shipping, but have not received much response in the past few weeks. Plus, one of my accessory lenses is damaged. Two questions:

1) Should I be worried about availability of spare parts?
2) Should Chinese manufacturer's be providing them (for a fee, of course)?

1) Yes.
2) Yes.

Chinese lasers are made with nonstandard parts and are often glued together and not repairable. So many here have had a laser quit working only to find it can't be repaired. This is a good reason to assemble your lasers yourself from readily available parts, then you know what's in it and how it's put together and you can repair it if you need to.

Or read up like crazy and start small and work your way up on building your own. That would be the best option yet.
