That looks like a good place to shop. I will keep that one in mind next time I need batteries or a charger. :thanks:

Acrticdude recommends them too.
Pm me about your dazzler please. Like to hear your thoughts on it.

If you buy batteries from ebay, I don't recommend buying from member r-lsales AKA RL-batterydepot. I bought some 26650 batteries from him twice, both times one of the two batteries were completely dead and would not charge & when I contacted him he would not replace it. I had to open a case against him, which I won. When eventually returned to him later, he made a statement to ebay there were arc marks on the battery which was a fabrication. The battery would not take any charge at all, no current would flow to or from the battery & returned in pristine appearing shape.

It's one thing for a seller to send crap that doesn't work, another when they lie about it, he shouldn't be allowed to sell on ebay.
Yeah that happens sometimes, thanks for the heads up. I remember last year I bought two 16340s from an ebay seller named veilablizhk, one of them did not work at all, I told him that and he apologized and sent two more for free.

Your more than welcome. Can't say about JL's, using flat or button, I'd check there website and go with what they say?

Edit@ Alaskan sorry to hear about your misfortune. I had the same thing happen with "demon fire" batteries. Bought half a dozen or so and had a couple crap out after the first or second charge. Never logged a complaint just won't but any more of them . :(
I think I'll just buy both flat and button tops to experiment with. I read some "demon fire" battery reviews on amazon, a lot of people say they are crap.

Illumn.com sells Keeppower batteries. Keeppower sells 18350 size batteries. I use this brand. https://www.illumn.com/batteries-ch...l?___store=default&battery_size=290&brand=239

Alright thanks I'll check them out. :yh:

From what I've seen, avoid batteries with the name fire anywhere in it.

I tried 18350's in my PL-E Mini 465nm, and they were very close to being too long, it was real difficult to get the tailcap threads started.

Here is my PL-E 465nm mini review that shows the use of the two different batteries.

Did you try one button top and one flat top 18350?

No I didn't, but that's an idea. I did use two Efest 800mAh flat top batteries whose flat top actually sits very slightly above the surrounding area, and gives a good contact when used in pairs.
I also used this same battery combo. with a very thin (less than 1mm) neodymium magnet in between them.
IIRC, these batteries were some of the shorter cells available, and even when using the magnet, the overall length of the pair was one of the shortest 18350 set ups that I could find at the time.

Sounds like as good/short as it gets---I have some 26650 like that flat top that sits just high enough to make good contact the the bottom of the battery above it.

I guess the tail cap contact could be adjust down a little deeper into the tail cap--have not had to try that yet, however

UPDATE: I got two pairs of 18350s from IMR, two flat-top Aspire 1100 mAh and two button-top Efest 800 mAh, both pairs fit perfectly into the PL-E Mini, even the button tops, haven't completely tested out the batteries but they seem to be very good. :)

Glad things worked out for you. The Efest should be top notch. Not familiar with the Aspire batteries, would be curious to find out about them. If you can let us know your thoughts. Best wishes and thanks. :)
