had to shut it down . . . po po came a callin . . .

I was going to go out and see how far away I had to get from my Explorer to burn the paint . . .

But the cops came and drove through with their spotlights so I decided to pack it in . . .

You're an IT prof with a background in racecar engineering? Yeah right. You're just some 14 year old kid who doesn't get enough attention at home, so you have to spam the forum to make you feel important at some level.

Yeah it's nice for charging, peaking etc but not so great for discharging/balancing . . . and I wish the display was backlit . . .

We tend to use the Tekin battery Dr. because they are faster, 2A discharge and they have an auto .5 V cutoff.

Plus we use bare cells so it's the right tool for the job . . .

What are you running?

I think that's a bit harsh.. however, I do agree that... eight threads now? are a bit much to all be about the same laser build.

Just think of it like this. You go to the library and check out a book and start reading it. Two chapters in, it just suddenly stops. No other information. How are you supposed to know that the story continues in a book called 'My neighbor's the greatest machinist ever', and when that one ends the same way, that 'mmmmkayy' is the book it continues after that?

Just ask a mod to merge all your threads on this build into one, and just add updates to that one. Then it's much easier to find everything about it.

After all, there's no prize for having a really high thread count. :p

Yeah I'm learning about "bumps", multiquote and vbull etiquette, stuff like that . . .

I still find it somewhat strange a thread starter can't delete their own thread but oh well . . . I tried . . .

the mmkkay thread was supposed to be a video showing me burning paint on one of my cars, which I understand now should probably go in the multimedia section . . .

so here's the current (pun unavoidable) cells, 4 x 1.22 = 5.47V with laser = ON . . .
