Don't be fooled guys, but that laser is actually very weak. It only puts out 1 joule, which is nothing. If you stood in front of it your clothes would just absorb it easily. If it fires once every 10 seconds (which it wouldn't) it's only as powerful as one of our 100mW lasers running continuously
The reason it has so many watts is because that's power over time, and that thing has a tiny, tiny pulse length. So with such a tiny pulse length, it makes the laser have high watts.
Now if that was a CONTINUOUS laser, then it might be useful
