Post Do i need safety glases?

Can anyone give me a list of frequency i need safety gases for
For example: 445nm 1W Blue Laser Diode

Please don't flame me im a bit of a newb and am thinking of taking this up as a hobby.
Any help is appreciated.

The problem is not the amount of reflected beam energy
going through the Laser Safety Goggles/Glasses.... it is
for how long a 1Watt focused beam takes to burn through
the lens by a direct hit...

Theatrical gel can reduce the energy of a 445nm reflected
Laser beam but at 1 Watt not long at all...

NO I don't condone using Theatrical gels for Laser Safety

just to make shore i understand you guys/gals are saying i need glasses for the blue diode
not direct contact but just looking at the beam (not direct) it is recommended to use glasses

if it's over 5mW, regardless of wavelength, you need goggles appropriate for that wavelength. You only get one pair of eyeballs.
