There's a HeCd laser offered on an action site here, it got 2 hour int he counter but it has been in storage for a while. The seller claims it works, which I can probably check, but I'd like some advice on buying my first HeCd.
Does a long time of storage raise the helium pressure too much for a relatively new head? And what would be a reasonable price, if the laser works (which I will check)?
It's a Liconix 4310, link:

If it really works, it is worth whatever you are willing to pay for it. "Working" HeCd's are a rarity in the used laser market.

It's now at 125 euro, but I'm running out of funds if I bid higher. Considering there's only one other person interested, outbidding him = having a new laser. Any tips on the value of this thing would be nice, it would justify a new laser for me :D
