On english:
Extremely dangerous laser is sold on the net

A lasersword more than thousand times stronger than common red point-lasers, wich blind pilots is on trade on the net. According to the seller can the beam cause permanent blindness and put the skin on fire.

This laser is the strongest of all handheld lasers which exist. Written by the Hong-kong-based manufactered "Wicked Lasers" on their site, there the sword is available for about 1 500 SEK (about $215).

It can give permanent blindness immediate and set fire to skin and other bodyparts.

Accord Wicked Lasers should this product cost sevaral 10 000 SEK ($1 500) less than a year ago. But the laser-technics have developed so fast that the manufaturing-cost has collapsed.

The expert on laser-security, John Colton consider that the "lasersword" is extremely dangerous.

It shoult not be selled on the net, says John Colton to Sky News:
Lightsabres: Lasers Compared To Star Wars Weapon Sold On Web To The UK | World News | Sky News

According to Colton is the beam at 1 W, wich is thousand times stronger, than the laserpointer which is available to the public, and have caused trouble for the aircraft because pilots have been blended. The last incident was in Jönköping, on the night to wednesday.

It's pretty cool that they compare the laser with the Star Wars laser-sword!

Of course we've seen just about all the press releases on the WL Arctic but I hadn't seen one translated like this before.

I know it's a typo but it made me chuckle!

An airline pilot...

"Will it blend?"

M

P.S. Nice bit of time killed there Hak!

I noticed in the photos, Felix the cat was looking away from the beam.......while SpongeBob was not. With age comes wisdom (even though neither were wearing goggles) :D

I warned them both-- Bob never listens-- Felix at least was wise enough to look away. Side note-- I hear that Chewbaka is now almost totally blind from a lack of proper eyeware.
