It sounds like crystal misalignment, if they shift just a fraction of a mm it's a huge problem, the beam exiting at an angle with a splash screams misalignment.
Isn't this a 269.00 300mw HH?
I would get a refund and if you still want a 532 then buy the o-like crown upgrade, or buy from jetlasers.
Dragons site shows they are out of stock on the Spartan 300

Return it and buy something else as suggested. I also have the crown upgrade from O-like and I believe mine hits over 600mW with a perfect beam and the price is good. Every laser I've purchased from laserbtb has been way overspec and even though I don't own a Jetlaser I've always considered them to have the best 532nm from the reviews I've seen by others over the last few years. They look great but tend to be pretty big which I'm not really into but so what, that's just my personal preference

$186 and $240 for O-likes crown upgrade 400 and 500mW units and they are a nice easy to handle size. Think I've had mine for 2.5 years now back when it cost a lot more.

Also, Podo's stuff may not be cheap but sure seems to be very high quality. Although I haven't purchased a laser from him yet the few things I bought I was very pleased with. Just wish the site was set up better.
