This host comes with a heatsink, collimating lens, and key swtich...



It fits an 18650 battery for a standard 12mm green module. (battery case positive - positive end towards tail switch)

It is designed for focusing a greenie. So you just remove the barrel and final lens from your green module, position it so that the side button of the host can activate the button on your module, and then the host has a lens in the head that focuses by turning the ring. (pictured)

The heatsink is threaded inside the top of the barrel, under the head...

also, this would fit an o-like module yes? no mod necessary except lens? and on that note. i take the WHOLE lens assembly out?? sorry, i just dont follow the deal with the lens

About the included lens. It's a lens that is similar to the collimating lens that is in an o-like module. But it is mounted in the head of the host, and can be adjusted by turning the focusing ring. (pictured)

That means, you must remove the collimating lens from your 12mm green module. Which normally is just a matter of taking the barrel off of the module. Normally, the only thing that is mounted in the barrel, is the final lens.

But you may want to check out your module first. Because I cannot say for sure that every single green module is like this. But the ones that I have seen, have all been the same.

You have to be careful not to dislodge any of the other optics when unscrewing the barrel off... Many times, it is only hand tight, and will be a very easy operation.

It will fit any standard 12mm green module...
