I was wondering what happened to these. That sucks

I'll get JLM's order out next day after receiving package... should go from me to him very quick.

I also got questioned at post office, sending a laser back to WB for repairs... they were wondering why I was spending $20 to send something with a declared value of $40... told them broken it is only $40 :angel: repaired it would be more :eg:

The post office is quite nice and they kind of know me, Every now and then i go there and ask questions about this and that , and they dont check my stuff sometime just welcome me and take my package, check everything take my signature or stuff and count the money..

This happened at the exiting border , and since it didnt had the tracking so there was no notification untill i inquired about it on a daily basis, Visited the PO and they helped me out..

I think they opened it because it was quite heavy and it was declared $30 they might have thought there are more than stated amount of flashlights in there or something could have lead to another i guess, when bad gets going

.. normally a 18650 host would weigh just below 8 ounces (200g) this was about 1000-1100g

Wow, each host ist 1000-1100g or both?!?!

Good thing you get along well with the post office guys... I try to never send things without tracking. I had packages just disappear before, all I got from post office was a shrug, and perfunctory "sorry, it happens, we handle a lot of mail".

One wasnt that heavy but they still stopped it and it was not able to cross the borders without a reciept or local customs clearence..

There were 3x Hosts Each weighs 350g+ I guess !! Well i never had a problem with losing anything , but it always depends on the buyer if he wants to pay me for expedited shipping which is very expensive even for a small host..

I want to pre-order 1 - MS-SSW JAD w/ the buck 2.2a driver for $115 shipped. Will the driver be heatsinked also due to the high current?

I am making a relatively larger batch, $$$ spent but these hosts are awesome..

And while they are being made everyone who's ordering can get it at the discounted price, I am looking to sell 5-7 at the presale price, and remaining at a higher price :beer:

Added you guys to the pre-orders list :beer:

The driver IC is heatsinked with a copper chunk and The whole Driver is then sinked to the pill, With thicker 24AWG silicone wires .. It has amazing stability even at longer runs of >5min !

I take payments right before shipping the product, or sometimes very generous members would send the funds in advance! :thanks:

Generally i would not bound the customer to send the payment in advance, If a person gets on the presale list now, that only ensures that he gets the pre-sale discounted price..
