Just like the title says. Anyone got something cheap? Something like those lightly tinted yellow ones would be nice.

With a 1W blue around (soon), I not only value my eyes but the eyes of my friends /family too.

So if anyone has a good deal (I remember reading $7 / pair somewhere), I will buy like 3-4.

If you value your eyes dont get cheap ones :p
scopeguy20 has blu blocker safety glasses that block 405, and green i think it is. he tested them against 520mW of 445 and only 3mW got through. i got a pair of him for ~$16 shipped to aus
cheers

Actually, if it can block most of it for even half a second, its good enough.

I don't plan on focusing 1W onto my eye while wearing goggles to "test" what happens.

Even if the protection fails after 1s, its more than enough imho.

if i were you i would go with atleast 5+ OD glasses but those will cost you allot more then 7$.
but to me it seems better to buy some goggles for lets say 60-80$ and have good protection instead of buying cheap goggles and get eye damage, your eyes are priceless right?.
remember its +/- 1W!! i wouldnt be suprised if it could burn a hole in some cheap goggles.

Anyway for some "cheap decent goggles" i would look at dragon lasers
Laser Glasses - UV to Green Lasers Protection 190-548nm :: Laser Safety :: Dragon Lasers
OD>4 @ 190-533nm for 25$ excl ship

just remember that you can buy goggles but you cant buy new eyes, you get those once in a life time.

I have one pair from the O-Like goggles for SALE. It´s the better version of the focalprice goggles. I paid $24.99 + shipping costs and sell them for $15 + shipping costs depending where you come from.
