dethlore, do we have to cover the difference in shipping cost for the recent order?

No, don't worry about the last order. I just need to get the shipping right from now on :) I just can't charge a reasonable flat rate on things that vary so much in weight.

MY SHIRT ARRIVED!!!!

Woohoo!!! Thank you so much Dethlore, this is great!

2x tee fits perfectly. Long enough that I almost thought it was a tall. Great work, looks awesome, and I can't wait to see it at night. Design is excellent, and very eye catching.

Ok man, I want to order one of these in GITD ultrablue :)

EIDT: Ok, walked outside, charged the tee, and then back into the bathroom and turned off the lights. The glow is kinda low key, but definitely visible in a dark room, and the logos look cool as hell. Seems to hold a charge well, but I think I am spoiled by Glow, Inc's powders for brightness expectation.

Wow arrived in Maine already?? Does everyone else have theirs yet? :)
I'm glad it fits right!

A GITD neon blue would be verrrry cool! Once I get a multi-order database set up, we can start taking orders for WHATEVER you want and then we can print once there are enough items ordered.

I wonder for the next GITD if there is something we can mix in to augment the glow... Mine glow just fine in the dark for clothing, but I'm not opposed to more! :D

EDIT: Something neat about the neon - by the way - is you will notice how even in DIM light it seems to glow just because of the color of it. Imagine how sweet these are with a blacklight or while shining around a 405nm!

I would love to see any pictures you guys take of your shirts!

Thanks for making this possible everyone!

Here's a quick one. I can't seem to get good dark pictures, since all I have is a cell for pics.

On the glow brightness and longevity, I am not sure what you are using, but I have modified a lot of my lasers and flashlights with glow powder, using different mediums such as acrylic paint (like nail polish), liquid poly clay, clear silicone and clear slow cure epoxy. They are crystals, essentially, that are suspended in the painting medium. The bigger the crystals, the brighter the glow. If you break the crystals, they lose their glow. Water based paints tend to cause problems with the glow crystals, and some companies have worked around this by encapuslating the crystals individually to protect them in water based paints.

I use Glow Inc. exclusively for my glow paints and powders.

I tried getting some dark ones too, but I need an SLR so I can take a good long time exposure. I'd like to set up a timed exposure in the dark with me and my family with some lasers on around as ambient light. I think that'd look cool :)

Shirt looks great man! :D

EDIT: I also had a hard time getting the flourescent to show correctly on the camera... keeps looking either washed out or too orange.

Wow those look fantastic! :D
I'm not sure if there's a big difference in paint vs ink... I don't see why I wouldn't be able to put some Glow Powder in the next batch? Just a price difference I guess. I'd have to get quite a bit to mix into the ink... $200 ink additive would kill the shirt prices :( But if we could get enough ordered, it wouldn't be so bad split up.

Rep is always appreciated! Thank you!

My Polo shirts should be waiting for me when I get home:D

I'll post a pic of one if I remain awake long enough.

I'm looking forward to seeing some pics of those shirts and your party this weekend!

I just changed my avatar - I'll have to do it right when I get home to illustrator. What do you think? :)

Nice avatar:)

I'd resize it a tad, make it look a little sharper maybe, but overall... I like it.

If the cost is greater due to more expensive GITD material, so be it. I'll still pay.

I haven't tried silk screening or putting patterns on cloth other than acrylic painting of a few designs on backpacks. From what I have seen, transferring the pattern works best. From what I understand, probably the coated particles work best.

Here's a couple of items from Glow Inc's site on mediums to use.

Well it seems to be that the smaller particles will work in silk screening. The guy that does my printing said he also has some reflective "beads" so I assume this stuff would work as well. If it can give a brighter print... :) Maybe if we can get a few people to "donate" towards getting this stuff, I'd love to keep the shirt price lower for everyone. I know I am going to do another run of the same design later so people can get their hoodies for the winter. I could only afford to buy shirts for myself every other month though... not sure how everyone else is.

by the way - gave you rep for the excellent information on the GITD stuff!
