Hey,

I'm interested in this. Is it a fast responding sensor? (Like an Ophir?) What's the resolution on the low end? Can I LPM a 20mW laser? What about a 1500mW laser?

Hope to hear back from you.

@rhd

Its an ohpir sensor if memory serves, and it certainly looks like an ophir , as such its has responce times in milliseconds, like mine, and mine will measure from 1mw upwards.

snypr: For $200, will you ship to Canada? We're basically CONUSA with a funny accent ;)

The Label on the above sensor says "Scientech"...:thinking:

$200.00 is a good price if the 365 is calibrated to the head..

I wasn't asking if it WAS an Ophir, I saw the label too. I was asking whether it had fast response characteristics LIKE an Ophir :)

If it does, I'm sold :)

Don't get your panties in a bunch.....:crackup::crackup:
I was responding to PED.....:cool:

I have a 365 with a slightly smaller head..
the only thing I noticed is that right when you first
apply a laser beam to my head's active sensor area
there is a spike on the reading that really is not there..
Other than that is works fine... a little slower than the
small 20C-A OPHIR heads.
I would assume (but am not 100% sure) that the quite
large active surface area of the Sensor above may slow
any stable readings down a bit.

Damnit! And this is such a good looking meter (my DIY meter is all fine and dandy, but now that I am starting to get more and more into the hobby, I figure a legit meter would be good [especially for my next project :evil:]).
