Tmack, I don't understand why my time in this forum is a concern when receiving payment for goods on PayPal? I just received items from Lazeerer by sending PayPal for purchase. A gift gives me no recourse should I receive the item in not working order. I feel more comfortable usig it for a purchase. If it's because you want me to pay the PayPal fee, just add that to the purchase price, but like you implied, we don't know each other, so I must purchase this item or not get it at all. Tmack, I got interested in holograms in the early 70s while going for my BSEE. I got a He-Ne laser in the early 80s and stared making holograms. Since Ive retired I've been looking for busy work and SSLs seemed like just the thing. I have built a handheld 445 nm 2 watt, but don't like the short duty cycle. So, I build lasers that can be used for 30 minutes at a minimum. I've built 660 nm, 635 nm, 4 DPSSLs 532nm, a 500mw 808nm laser that can stay on all day, and I bought a 445nm TO18 2 watt LD brand new from Nichia that I plan to turn into a lab laser. Tmack, thanks, man. I really do appreciate it. If you know anything about data logging with this device and what drivers I'd need please let me know. I'm not sure it's even possible with Windows 8.1, but I'd like to keep my options open. Do you have the cable for data logging or is that something I'll have to order? Gratefully, paul1598419

I just got everything together. It comes with the USB to lpm adapter, cable and software. I don't have a pc so I never tried data logging. I was told by herunotsurugi ( original owner) that it was great. He assured me everything was in great working order with data logging. I don't know about the windows issue. As a stand alone unit it has served me well. I just fired it up to compare it with my Ophir and it is right on point when calculating for the difference in response time. I have not had this long at all and it is in the same state as I bought it. You will be very happy with this unit. Did you look at the comparison chart in one of the above posts. It will show you all the specs of the lpm.

Yeah. I looked at it on LaserBee's listings and I'm sure I will love it. I will try to get it to data log for me, but Jerry Bauer told me that they don't ever use Windows 8 because of the issues with the program. I may be able to get around it, we'll see. paul1598419
