I am right there with you Apex. Don't think for a minute that I have not played the "Laser nazi" before. You know like the soup Nazi from Seinfeld. "No Laser For You!"
Whenever I come across someone of questionable inteligence or age I usually drill them until I can confirm they should or shouldn't own one of these. Luckily there haven't been too many lately.....Besides kartracer00. Just messin with ya buddy.

WOW. Just, wow. I feel bad for anyone NOT ordering one of these this very second.

I turned it on outside and my neighbors were like, "WHAT IS THAT?!?!?!"

My bad, i just didn't expect to see such a bright, visible beam in broad daylight.

LOL, Yob I saw that EP of Seinfeld a few times. Its one of my favorites :D

May be I should call you the Soup Nazi from now on. Yes, Soup Zazi not lazer but soup. Just so some people have no clue what it means.

Also, honestly I think possessing a laser like these definitely requires intelligence and maturity. Not to mention, if you aren't careful it could come back and bite you. I am building a 2.2W 445 for my buddy and believe me, I have been drilling him ever since I got my 445 from you every time he wants to hold it. His goggles should ship before the diode and if not I will chew him out if he uses it indoors without them. I also told him that as a rule for me building it that nobody under 18 can touch it. Ever. BTW, the BlueIce was the laser that convinced him to have me build him one :D

So check out this heat sink that snaps PERFECTLY onto a blue ice host. I pushed it on gently cause the outside of the host is barely bigger than the
outside of the motor it came off of. By eye. I havnt microed either yet. i might. :)

This was a really cool find. seeing how my laser gets pretty warm after 40 seconds, i had to find a way to help cool it faster.
Thus the heat sink from my R/C hobby.
If you want to know where to get one, let me know. I mainly wanted to show u this Yob. it adds a whole new level to the laser.

Great find bro. If you were to strip the anodizing under the heatsink and add in a thin layer of thermal grease you could further increase the effect.

If you were to send the laser + heatsink to someone like Eudaimonium or Flaminpyro I'm sure they would be able to add in a tiny set screw or two to hold the heatsink in place.
