Hello everyone. I'm new to this community but have been a lurker for awhile now before I decided to finally register. I decided to join because well.. I'm having a rough time getting to find good company's that actually sell what your paying for. If anyone could shed any light on some good company's with reasonable prices, even if not good prices I have money to spend for quality. I'd highly appreciate it, I use to be in the sport of building my own years back but by now I know ive lost the skill I use to have. I'm looking to get a nice 3-5W.

Thanks,
Nick

I've been doing some research into sanwu I like what I hear with them but their hosts aren't of my taste.

Sanwu is a very good company. Well, I've provided a link for you to check out that lists other companies that are safe to look at.

Thanks I'm looking into your list now. Have any experience with jetlasers 445Nm PLE pro? Looks like they would be beautiful.

I don't personally, but many others on here have experience with the PLE Pro series. Jet Lasers are a good company as well to buy from.

Lots of people have the PLE Pro, you can use the search bar at the bottom of the page to find reviews and discussion about those and other lasers from JL.

That I am currently looking into on their site. Having a rough time on which I'm gonna get due to not knowing the quality of their eye protection.

I would recommend the eagle pair from survival lasers. Just make sure you have the right wavelength pair.
They’re known to be of good quality.
Welcome !

Nick, Jetlasers is an excellent company, with some of the best customer service around.
Many members here at LPF own, or have owned Jetlasers products.

If you're interested in the PLE-Pro, you may also want to take a look at their Mini, which isn't really mini in size; it'll give you everything that a Pro will only in a somewhat smaller host (34mm dia. x 232mm long).

It was mentioned earlier, but be sure you have the proper eyewear for whatever wavelength you buy. :yh:

Edit: -Here- is a short review of a 465nm 1.4W Mini that I did.

Yes, also as a LPF member you can get a 10% discount with the code : LPF445. Eagle Pairs are expensive but are good trustworthy goggles.
As you are planning to get a 445nm PLE-Pro you will need goggles covering the wavelength at OD3+. So these are your best match. https://www.survivallaser.com/Eagle_Pair__190-540nm_OD5_Standard_Laser_Safety_Goggles/p556088_2780808.aspx

With the discount they would be $38.69.

I forgot to mention that you should put your location on your profile.

Yeah I plan to get the 445nm PLE pro 4W or 5W Looking into survivals goggles now. Think I'll definitely be getting a pair their since you mentioned the discount and since they seem top notch.

Yes, they are good quality goggles. Can't put a price on your eyesight.
Have you had any experience with high power lasers before? 4-5W is a very serious power level.
