I was thinking today, most of us are pretty smart with high IQs, nearly everyone of us carries a laser in our pockets, and we actually know what different wavelengths each color is + measurement of divergence on a bunch of lasers + different terminology concerning light and lasers, etc...

I am proud to say that we are some of the coolest nerds on the planet ;D ;D ;D [smiley=lolk.gif]

It was just a thought I had before going to class (which I'm gonna be late to since I'm still here typing this)

Have fun lasing :D

what about one of the most dangerous nerds on the planet? piss us off and we'll lase your eye 8-)

there's also the very cool open source nerds, who give us stuff like mozilla firefox, and linux, and oolite, all for free!

even the windows version of firefox was made by the nice helpful open source geeks :P

Well they've done a good job because it's the default browser for me I find IE7 too slow and too bloated ;)

agreed that IE sucks bad. can't wait until M$ admits their browser suck and offer support for windowsupdate.com to firefox. I know there's ways to get around it, but it'd be nice to just go without having to workaround it. Especially now since my IE7 is having identity problems

Internet Explorer has identified itself as Mozilla for years, from back in the day when Netscape (the codename of which was Mozilla, which later was used as the name for Netscape's open source offshoot, which then developed into Firefox) was the dominant browser. i think it's because some of those old early websites wouldn't let a non-Netscape browser on...

Ironically, now there are plugins to make Firefox identify as IE-identifying-as-Mozilla (or Mozilla compatible), because some websites are stupid and refuse to allow access if you're not running IE.

Oh noez not another IE vs Mozilla war... RUN FOR COVER!!! ;D

I like IE7. It's Mozilla that f-ed my computer up, oddly enough. No, I dont dl the pr0nz or random programs. I also have the same anti-virus/spam/spybot/whatever in both cases. Mozilla just screwed it up. All the safeguards kinda pissed me off too...
"Too you want to dl?"
... that's why I clicked the dl link
"Are you sure?"
... yes...
"Dl'ing now, is this ok?"
... omfg

Lol... Then there is Windows vs. Mac... those arguments can get even more insane ;D

well that's exactly what i'm talking about. because of my retarded IE, i can't go to windowsupdate.com anymore because it says I need to be using IE5.5 or higher... go figure that one out lol
i'm sure something in the registry went a little wacko, but it had to be IE...

ah got it fixed... had to manually change the values in the registry.

OK, so back on topic :)

yep, that's the downside of a "conglomeration" of high-iq people...reminds me of this

edit: linkfix'd
