These are readily available for a fairly small price. You cannot guarantee that they will get up to 2W in power however.

As for focusing, that would be difficult without some kind of night vision camera setup. And yes it will burn things, but you would need to be able to focus it.
Be careful with IR lasers, whether you are a novice or an expert you should always excercise caution, you only get 2 eyes.
