I thinking about selling some shades, they look almost identical to WL's lasershades, but they look as though they protect even better.

Here's a hand full of pics...

WL on left, NESHADES on the right.

No is no visible difference between the two.

The only difference physically are the hinges, they look cheaper then the WL's.

If I have some people interested in them I might start selling them, I was thinking $29 shipped USPS priority, and for folks outside the US, you would have to pay $7 extra for international shipping.

BTW, I've gotten in touch with Pseudo and I'm going to send him a sample of the lens so that he can calculate the Optical Density, or OD. (I owe ya' big! Thanks!)

If I was to do this, would anyone want to buy it? Give me some feedback :)

P.S. NESHADES is pronounced NES-SHADES. ;D

NICE ! If they prove to be worthy, and protect adequately - you will sell a TON of those, I am sure ! You may even want to talk to Jack from Opto, or Laserglow, etc - it could be a decent selling item for them as well ! KUDOS if they work out, man - I am all for GOOD protection at a GREAT price ! :-)

Re: Would anyone be interested in this? (LaserShad

I would buy them as they are $10-$20 cheaper and you say they may be better. I will think about buying from you.

Re: Would anyone be interested in this? (LaserShad

Well I'm sending my optic sample off tomorrow to get tested by Pseudo, if the OD is good, then I'm going to start selling them! ::)

Re: Would anyone be interested in this? (LaserShad

Can you get them in blue for blocking red? Just thought I would ask since there are a ton of people that really could use them on account of the diode GB...lol..

Re: Would anyone be interested in this? (LaserShad

keep us updated man.
This should probably be put in the Safety section, or at least in the Laser section since this isn't off-topic.

Re: Would anyone be interested in this? (LaserShad

Well, I wanted your personal opinions, and there's no opinion board, so I just posted it here ;D

Pseudo should get the sample today, so I will post an update when ever he contacts me.

Re: Would anyone be interested in this? (LaserShad

Ok sweet. This is probably going to be the cheapest way to get new goggles that are this good.

Re: Would anyone be interested in this? (LaserShad

I would still like to know if you can get them in blue for blocking red lasers. Thank you.. :)

Yes! With the DVD burner group-buys, I'm sure you'd sell all of them!

Re: Would anyone be interested in this? (LaserShad

Will these goggles not protect your eyes as well as some blues ones?

Re: Would anyone be interested in this? (LaserShad

There are different goggles for different wavelengths. Goggles that protect you from green are red, and goggles that protect you from red are blue. There is much more information in the Safety section of the forum.

Re: Would anyone be interested in this? (LaserShad

Okay I wasn't sure it appears as if I am still going to be stuck with buying them from WL.

Re: Would anyone be interested in this? (LaserShad

Well wait and see what nes_ds comes back with. They may very well have the blue shades. Otherwise, WL is your safest and surest bet.

Re: Would anyone be interested in this? (LaserShad

Well, still no word from Pseudo, I'm sure the sample will get to him by tomorrow.
