I'm currently (slowly) buying parts for my custom c6 build from survival lasers and DTR. It will include:
Module
12mm copper 5.6mm module with 3 element glass from DTR
Diode
A140 diode I picked up a while back
C6 Host
DIY C6 Host Assembly
Heat Sink
Unanodized Aluminum Heat Sink
1.25a Driver
Survival Laser Driver
Do you think this driver is sufficient for a a140 diode?
This is my first custom build and from the looks of it will only total $59.35 with host, heat sink, driver, a140 diode ( I paid $15.50 for), and the DTR Aixiz module w copper and 3 element glass. I'm estimating around 1W What do you think?
This is my first custom build, and I am very unsure/nervous about soldering directly to the diode pins and actually pressing the diode in the module. I am confident in my soldering skills, just not on such sensitive materials.
Would you guys consider these for a permanent solution?

Please let me know what you think!
Thanks
