Hi guys ! I am going to buy my first laser and I was confused between wicked laser krypton which is 520nm 1w at $500 and sanwu challanger 2 either 1.2w at 520nm and 1w at 525nm which both are almost less than $600 which the options I chose( multi mode one ). Now there are three laser from which I have to choose one .
Now, I want a laser which :
◇ Is easy to use
◇ Is bright
◇ Burns things well
◇ Can be used more ( not wanting one which gets hot up and I have to turn it off and give it like rest rather one which can be used for longer at particular moment).

》》The thing I'm concerned about is if I buy wicked laser I know the laser would not be 1w and would be less but I guess I could use it for more time at particular moment than sanwu laser.
》》On the opposite if I buy sanwu, i don't know if I can use it for more time when I switch it on and unlike wicked laser it would not have the thing which makes laser a flashlight. But it would have exact power

I would be glad to get your opinion and help me decide which laser would be better for me, because that laser will be my first and last one keeping my wish for the desired laser and my concerns
Thanks !

Go with Sanwu, quality wise Wickedlasers doesn't compete. They just seen to put gimmick lights and switches.
When your up at 1W of green, they run so hot that a 1.2W or 1.3W really makes no difference.
The thing about Sanwu's multi mode switches is some members have problems with them working proper. I think it's more of a press the button timing thing between modes than switch issue's?? I can't be 100% sure.
If the Challanger series is the big host, then it's well sinked for good run time and I believe will go into protection low mode when it gets to hot.
I'm also sure Sanwu's customer service is much better..

😊 Thanks for your help . Just one tiny question .
◇ does 532nm and 520nm have really (big/minor/negligible)visibility difference in real life apart from theory?

A 532nm is a totally different laser system than the direct diode 520nm ones. The 532nm is a bit more visible mW for mW than the 520nm, but hardly enough to make it worth pursuing for that reason alone. Generally the 532nm DPSS lasers have better beam specs and longer coherence lengths than direct diode 520nm lasers do.

No, they are really close. Till you get a 1W green in hand you just won't see how really really bright they are!
Yup in theory also the 532's being DPSS and having a tighter beam and spot is suppose to be brighter but at this point in power you shouldn't be able to tell a difference.

Edit: oops Paul beat me to it:)

This might narrow your decision.
