My Wicked Laser E2 worked poorly with the safety pin needing to be held and in just the right position to fire. Took the end cap apart and a copper bit that bridges two of the screws was broken. I tried a solder repair but no joy. Looking for any solutions from a new end cap to anything that'll do the job. This old E2 may not have much life left, but would be a shame to retire it for this.

You have been working on this E2 since September 2017, almost 8 years ago. lol
How about making or getting someone to make you a replacement copper bit that you describe in the post.

I don't follow what you are doing.
Are you saying that the biggest problem now with the E2 is you? lol
Put the battery in and short the tail end, case to battery, and see if it turns on. If it does then you need to fix the tail cap or get a replacement tail cap.
Email WL and ask them if you can buy a replacement tail cap. They may have one.

Sounds like a sh*t or get of the pot problem--undo whatever damage you did or do or toss the E2 in the rubbish bin.

I'll take the E2 if you're going to throw it away ;)

But IIRC the E2 endcap is just a cap, there's no power switch or anything other than the MiniLock pin. Try sticking a wad of aluminum foil between the battery and the endcap to bypass the endcap and see if it works?
