The Nexus button is gone, all the black paint is chipped off except for the end, and I believe its output is significantly diminished (though I have no way of testing.) It also seems to fluctuate in power qutie a bit, more than it did when I first received it. I have used and abused it, but it has been one amazing laser. I love these CNI pens. Here are some pictures of it.

Send it to me and I will give it a new button, try to fix the power fluctuations and I might have bottom of a barrel to replace yours. I will know for sure in a couple of days.
