Hi,

i'm looking for a cheap, powerful laserpointer (150-300mW) that can be sent to Germany. Is there any webpage that supports that?

btw. sorry for the bad english

Best regards,

Re: Which laserpointer to buy that can be sent to

Cheap and Powerful are not supposed to be used in the same sentence, unless it is along the lines of "Fantasy, and dragons" hehehehe ! Seriously, what type of laser pointer, gree, red, blue, etc ? I am assuming you mean green, but some extra info can't hurt. If you are talking about red, you can build one yourself by following many threads in the experiments and mods section - as well as buy all the supplies you need fro mthe group buys section, or the for sale section.

By the way, welcome to the forum !

Thanks!
but b2t: OK - then not so cheap ;-) But is there any company that sends Lasers to germany except from wickedlasers?

Re: Which laserpointer to buy that can be sent to

Every company that ships worldwide will ship to Germany, although I think that IIIB lasers are illegal in the EU, but LOL I got lucky! ;)
BTW welcome TTF!

Re: Which laserpointer to buy that can be sent to

Laserglow ships lasers to Germany almost daily. We have no problems getting our lasers to customers in Germany (or anywhere else, for that matter). You will probably need a Commercial Invoice to get the package through Customs, so just be sure to ask for one when you place your order and we'd be happy to email a copy to you.

Hi 300mW,
We also regularly ship our laser products to Germany.
Seems that the European area is our biggest customer since the US dollar is dropping in value so much recently.
An invoice is included for German customs.
Shipping is $23, laser products ship the next business day and are delivered to the customer in Germany in 4-6 business days depending on how busy the customs office is there.

I'm a recent customer of Optotronics and can tell you that Jack's commitment to customer service is unmatched. As for the quality of the product, I must be honest in saying that I do not consider myself an expert but, the RPL 350 that I bought is even better that I had hoped for! ( Also, I believe this is the smallest hand held of this power) I have read that there are a few other quality companies as well, but I don't see how anybody could match the great customer service!

Yes, as everyone has stated - every company listed in the companies section will ship to Germany :-) Is it safe to assume that you DO mean green ? What type of lasers, and what power levels are you looking for ? The more info you hand out, the more we can all help :-)

Re: Which laserpointer to buy that can be sent to

At first thanks for such a lot of answers. I'm looking for a portable laserpointer that can pop up balloons, light matches and so on (green lasers: 100-200mW). The color is not really important, but it's the cheapest way to use powerful green lasers instead of red or blue ones, isn't it?

Re: Which laserpointer to buy that can be sent to

Typically, high power greens are more avaliable than reds. But you can make a high power red yourself!
If this is your first laser you may want to consider a lower power one. Otherwise, go for it! I'd personally go for a RPL, but it's up to you to read some reviews and find out.
Have fun and Welcome!!!

Re: Which laserpointer to buy that can be sent to

Thanks, but I think i will not make a laserpointer myself, because if somethink goes wrong, i have a red handlamp with no function at all. In another forum it's discussed, too whether to buy a laserpointer or to make one alone. One member tried it, something went wrong and now he has a red handlamp that works for 15 minutes until the batteries run down. Actually I want to buy a laserpointer.
Thanks again for the links like optotronics and laserglow - I will think about buying it.

Re: Which laserpointer to buy that can be sent to

I think you should consider buying a lower power one if this is your first, otherwise, go for it.
