The only major difference between the two is the battery and style of the pen (Along with 4 bucks but whose counting?)
The only thing i would consider is that the first one likely takes a CR model rather than the second one's AAA. AAA's are MUCH easier to find and buy at local stores which makes replacement batteries that much more easier to get. You can get other types of battery stores online but its that much more of a pain.....
