which heat effective laser

Hi guys, here the first noob questions;

I look for a laser that is:

Portable
Consumes little power (max 4 watts, hence the portable)
Is capable of heating a thin black metal plate, approx 2x2 inches, up to around 600/700 F

I don't care if it will take half an hour or more to heat it up.

Which laser config do I need for this direction?

I'm not sure if what your asking for is physically possibly with today's technology. What's your application?

Unless you're planning something really strange, a laser is possibly the worst tool for this.
