Where to buy 400ma safe red diode?

I've seen the data graphs and some of the product numbers, and I've burned up some RLD65PZB5 diodes I got on ebay by pushing them to 400ma (obviously a bad idea).

But search as I may, I cant find a seller for a red diode that will withstand prolonged 400ma input.

Anyone know where to get them? Preferably with leads already attached.

Is there page on this forum (I did look) where all the forum members who have stores are listed?

Seems I can only find out who has a store by randomly noticing them in the signatures of the posts.

Thanks

Well I don't know what the hell a RLD65PZB5 diode is, but we have this one diode, you may have heard of it, the Long Open Can or LOC for short.

Use the search. Nearly every website that sells laser diodes and sleds will have them. The only way you could have not found a seller for them is if you weren't even looking. They are basically the standard for red diodes.

Did you happen to see the thread right before yours? "Lpc-826 graphs" hmm maybe that would be a good place to look, right? Or how about the 4th thread after yours, "Hotlight LPC-826...550mA....380mW" ? I mean seriously it was as simple as click on the red lasers section and the answer is staring you in the face. Surely since you were looking for a red laser and you posted a thread in the red laser section, it must have occured to you to at least GLANCE at the TITLES of the FIRST FEW threads, if not actually LOOK AT A THREAD OR TWO!

Please look around and search a bit before you post things like this...
