Where do you get these sig images?

I've seen some users with a bar image that shows off a laser they have. I seem to remember seeing a link about where to generate them, but I have no idea where to start looking for it again. Does anyone know where they come from?

But nothing of what I'm looking for, and it looks like neither has been updated in a while... Looks like it might be time to dust off my GIMP skills.
