Radioshack or allelectronics.com perhaps? If the value must be precise, you may want to consider tuning a potentiometer yourself instead.

Try looking on eBay for low range resistor kits. I got a few 2.2ohm resistors in a kit recently so I know you can get them in kits, and to top it off you will have a bunch of different resistors you can use for future projects.

You can put 4 10 ohm 1/4 watt resistors in parallel. This will give you 2.5 ohms. I know it is a nuisance, but most places I have seen require minimum orders of at least $10.00.

iam space limited so i cant use the 4 10 ohms i guess ill have to spend a extra 5-10 bucks lol
