hmm, sorry, i forgot, im using a tiny host which takes 3 aaa's and im using a ghostdrive, should i use 2 aaa lithium batterys with this?

EDIT: its going to be at 496mA

yes, so that means the driver will take care of the excess v? sorry im pretty new to this hobby and this is my first build

the excess voltage is converted to heat, if you use 3x10440 you will need to heatsink the ghostdrive

hmm, are there any other batteries that can take up the place, like 2 of something, a battery that is 3.7v each

Currently working on a buck rogers/steampunk inspired host to hold my next build.

Thinking about putting a 1W into it, working on the handle right now which has a locking system among other things for safety.

And yes, I use proper safety goggles for each wavelength :)
