what to do with laser with a dead diode?

I had a SKYlasers(laserbtb) 100mw 405nm laser and the diode died when I tried to pot mod it but over did it. Can I replace the diode and get it to work again or something like that?

You can but it takes great amount of skill to replace a diode in a commercial laser. Well technically, taking it all apart and putting it back together is the tricky part because most lasers aren't made to be taken apart on user end.

Nothing prevents you from trying though.

Make sure to test-load the driver before hooking up new diode.
