What Sled is this ????

Would any one happen to recognize this lens ? i think its a sanyo but i dont really know.
and is it any good ?

From the looks of it, it looks like the 12x? Sled from amk's group buy. Would be pretty nice, if they were indeed the 12x with a pulsed rating of 450cw and I think 200mw CW. so 300+mw of 405 ???

all i know is its a Sanyo Blu ray burner lens. And im getting 1 for free to test from my supplier. i hope its more then 4x ;D would be nice

Yeah, I am really hoping that this will be an 8x or 12x, either way it will push the envelope of BR to new levels. An AR glass lens from Igor combined with a 12x diode!? That can result in some serious power imo. 400mw? 450mw? maybe even class IV in daguins case?!

I think that half this forum will be having wet BR dreams the coming week ;D

I just hope so. Thats the only info i have on that sled. but at least ill be getting a sled for free, and it looked like it would have a red laser in it also for dvd burning

Daguin found out that these are actually readers, not writers. Gooeygus bought one and it was a DT-8011.
