What is online printing services ?

Hello, do anyone have a idea what really is online printing services ? I confused how printing online is possible , this includes more than just print a paper ? Or online printing services includes the designing and all ? I saw a website that says online printing services www.printsafari.com. Why cant they just say designing service instead of online printing services ? Does not it makes wrong sense ?

Online printing usually refers to the ability to use a computer and when connected to the internet,you can print out whatever is on your computer to any other printer that has been given permission to print it. This can be in next room or half way around the world. The computer needs to have the online printers IP
Address and vise versa and permissions for each user to print out whatever is required. Rather handy.The services refer to the fact that only people with permission can print to the printer and hence its a service for a group of people with access to that particular printer.

Your welcome part of my job entails setting up computers at high schools with printers in remote rooms at the end of every building . So the staff usually have access to print out on which ever printer they require but the students usually don't have the same permissions.They may be able to print but only in black not color .which also comes under the printing services.
