What is a GITD Tail???

I bought a cool romisen laser on dealextreme.
But it has a GITD Tail and i have no idea what that means. couldnt find anything with google either.


Also, all the topics said its easy to potmod so if i can make this a 60mw, please tell me how

It is an abbreviation for Glow In The Dark. It glows in the dark after it has been charged with uv-light.

You can pot mod it to around 60mW BUT you will probably completely break it, I pot modded mines and it broke the pot, which then caused the laser to be over powered and it started mode hopping.

be careful i have heard of a lot of people some how breaking the pots on their drivers.


also be aware pot moding can give your diode to much power and blow it
